President Pranab Mukherjee taught students on the eve of teacher's day

President Pranab Mukherjee take the part of a teacher on the eve of Teacher's day, on the occasion of Teachers' Day, and give lessons in political history to students of class 11 and 12 from a Delhi school.

The President, who was a college teacher and a journalist before he joined politics in 1969, will hold a class with the students from Dr Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidyalaya which is situated inside of the mixes of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

A helper said the President will let them know about political history "as he has seen unfolding" in the hour-long class. Later, the President will address almost a hundred educators also.


The thought was pitched by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Deputy Manish Sisodia. The President preferred it and offered agree to be a piece of the state government's project 'Be a Teacher' where well known individuals volunteer to take classes.

President Mukherjee, 79, has a Master's Degree in History and Political Science furthermore Law from the University of Kolkata.
